They have bought, sold & IPO'd 87 companies, and raised $2.5B equity capital. Maia has experience with 60+ M&A transactions, 7 IPOs, and over 25 board and observer roles.
- Kleida Martiro, Managing Director at Glasswing Ventures ($250M AUM), an early stage venture capital firm investing in next gen AI & frontier tech startups. Kleida was named a Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40 rising star.
We will have a short AMA (Ask Me Anything), where you’ll have the chance to ask them questions and gain valuable insights into product market fit, customer acquisition strategies, getting to the first $1-10M, as well as fundraising.

Speakers:Harris Stolzenberg, Partner, Pear VC ($800M AUM): Harris is a Partner at Pear VC, leading the firm’s East Coast expansion from Boston and working closely with founders at the earliest stages. He previously worked at Pear as an associate before joining Pando, a Pear portfolio company, and later launching his own Pear-backed startup. Harris also served as Chief of Staff at Pillar VC and built and sold a venture-backed travel tech company. Originally from South Florida, he studied at MIT, where he played lacrosse and football. A proud Boston resident, Harris completed the 2014 Boston Marathon in support of Mikey’s Run, the nonprofit he founded with his brothers that raised over $225,000 for bombing victims.
Maia Heymann, Founder & General Partner, Converge VC ($120M AUM): Maia brings 25 years of experience investing in and financing B2B technology companies to her role as Converge Founder & General Partner. After launching BancBoston Ventures’ West Coast office, she spent two decades partnering with founders and backing disruptive startups, drawing on expertise shaped by 60+ M&A transactions, 7 IPOs, and over 25 board and observer roles. Her select investments include Chainalysis, BlueConic, Help Scout, OnDisplay (IPO), Versata (IPO), Docent (IPO), InQuira (acquired by Oracle), Watchfire (acquired by IBM), and WebCT (acquired by Blackboard).
Previously, Maia served as President overseeing BancBoston Ventures’ $340M portfolio post-merger with Bank of America and was a Managing Director at Shott Capital, stewarding $2.7B in LP commitments to VC funds. Earlier in her career as a Silicon Valley tech banker, she underwrote more than $2.5B in structured debt financing for technology acquisitions.
Kleida Martiro, Managing Director, Glasswing Ventures ($250M AUM): Kleida Martiro is a Managing Director at Glasswing Ventures with deep expertise in data science, applied AI, and company building. She leads investments in Infinity Loop, TensorStax, Retrocausal, Kusari, Enlaye, and Krane, and has held Board Observer roles for Labviva, Black Kite, Inrupt, Allure Security, Lambent Spaces, and ChaosSearch. Kleida also guides Glasswing’s partnership with Northeastern University, shaping future investors and advancing the firm’s use of AI in investment strategy.
Previously, she was Head of Data Science at SocialFlow (acquired by Piano), where she built the company’s machine learning systems for real-time content optimization. Earlier, she worked in Strategy and Analysis at Digitas for Fortune 500 clients.
