Speaker:Alain Biem, Former Chief AI Officer, New York Life Insurance: Dr. Alain Biem is a senior leader, practitioner, and academic in AI and data science. He has held executive AI leadership positions at several Fortune 100 companies, including serving as Chief AI Officer at New York Life and Chief Data Scientist at S&P Global Market Intelligence. Earlier in his career, Dr. Biem led AI initiatives at Wayfair and Opera Solutions, after beginning his professional journey as an AI Scientist in Japan an then IBM Research in New York. With multiple patents and over 50 publications, he is recognized as an expert in advancing the application of AI across business and academia. Dr. Biem also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, where he teaches graduate courses in AI and machine learning.
