We’ll be joined by Yamba Malawi, an organization working to shift communities in one of the world’s most impoverished countries from subsistence farming to sustainable livelihoods. Our dinner will feature Yamba's Founder Melissa Kushner, who was recognized with the Young Entrepreneur Award by the World Entrepreneurship Forum and featured in Forbes, USA Today, Elle, and NBC. Also joining her are Founder & CEO of Percent (raised ~$50M), Nelson Chu, and Partner at Perkins Coie, Sonia Farber, a former founder who serves on Yamba's board. There will be a short session about how they have been engaged in impact work.
We will discuss impact-driven entrepreneurship and giving back. You’ll have the chance to connect with other successful founders and funders while exploring how your business success can make a meaningful difference in the world.
