For this week’s Crypto Tuesday, we have two special speakers in the house!
- JY Chia from Alpha Wave Global (ex-Falcon Edge) - a Tiger grandcub with >$5B in assets under management (AUM). JY is an investment professional with experience in both public and private equity, with a focus on crypto/web3 and software. He will be sharing more about the basics of crypto, the future of layer 1s, and taking questions on any topics from NFTs to gaming to ETH 2.0!
- A secret representative from Luna Foundation Guard - one of the biggest DeFi players globally (think: $3B in 24H trading volume). He will be sharing about stablecoins and everything you ever wanted to know about DeFi!
It’ll be a fun evening of getting to know fellow crypto enthusiasts as we discuss blockchain applications, web3, and crypto over food and drinks! 🍹
It will take place at Sojourn (Upper East Side), and they are giving us some exciting specials for the night: 2-for-1 cocktails ($12), food items ($5) such as short rib sliders, a kobe burger + cocktail set deal for $20, and free appetizers circulating! (while stocks last)
An in-app chat group will open up for all attendees two days prior to the social for ease of coordination on the day of, and there will also be app-enabled in-person interactions during the social.
