Happy hour with Ben Aronowicz (Founder of Team Union), Ellen Brandenberger (Ex Head of Product at Chegg) and Joseph Low (Gen Z tech talent and Web3 enthusiast) for a night of good conversation around attracting and retaining #GenZ is a whole new ball game, are you ready?
Class of 2019 - Gen Z is ready to get to work. But, are your organisations ready for them? As we speak, 47% of Generation Z said they are very likely to change jobs within the next 12 months.
High turnover and low career satisfaction are posing issues for businesses. With the average cost per new hire standing at $4,700, your business is paying the price. How can you truly attract and keep the right young talents?
Organised by SzeYing Teo, Programme Manager at National University of Singapore’s Global Entrepreneurship Programme.
More about the hosts:
Ben Aronowicz started Union as a response to the broken hiring practices that have been so pervasive in these past few years of frenzied competition for tech talent. As former Heads of Talent and People at Thinkful from Seed through acquisition, he is excited to help start-ups grow sustainably.
Ellen Brandenberger has managed more than 20 product development teams throughout her career and enjoys developing teams and individuals to achieve their highest potential. Most recently she was the Director of Product Management & Design at Chegg (NYSE: CHGG).
Joseph Low started his career as a designer, and has since transitioned to product management. He represents Gen Z’s passionate desire for a better world. A blockchain start-up’s engineer by day, and by night he wears multiple hats – writing about all things design, product and Web3; hosting “The Alternative Hustle” podcast and coaching aspiring home-brewers and baristas.
