Met Cloisters is a branch of the Metropolitan, devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe in a French monastery overlooking the Hudson. As a bonus, Fall foliage is expected to be at the peak then.
Optional:
If weather permits, we will take a walk around Fort Tryon Park or to Fort Washington Park to enjoy the Fall colors. We will end the trip with some Dominican food in Little Dominican Republic.
Met Cloisters ticket:
Pay what you wish (i.e., as low as $0.01 😆) for New York State residents and NY, NJ, CT students. You may purchase your ticket at one of The Met’s locations with a valid ID. No advance reservations are required.
How to get there:
You can take the A train to Dyckman Street Subway Station or the 1 train to 191st Street. Meetup details to follow.
