About the hosts:
DearCo(@dear_community) began in 2021 out of a need for connection and creative expression during the pandemic. What started in a backyard as a space for performers to share their craft has grown into a dynamic community platform. DearCo uplifts emerging artists hosting events from music and poetry to comedy, magic, and beyond, we exist to celebrate performance in all its forms and to foster meaningful connection. Welcoming not just artists, but also young professionals seeking space beyond their day-to-day to explore, express, and connect.
Viet Creative Society (@vcs.nyc) sparked from a single video call between creatives. Their first collaboration—a fashion show paired with original music—led to the birth of an organization that now highlights and connects Vietnamese artists across NYC. VCS is about empowerment, visibility, and celebration through art.
