Womankind warmly invites you to our 2024 Communities Rising Gala!
We hope you will join us on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Tribeca 360 in New York City for an inspiring evening as we come together to celebrate the strength and resilience of the over 2,000 survivors Womankind works alongside on their pathways to healing. As our 2024 Phoenix of the Year Honorees, we are thrilled to recognize the achievements of two exceptional leaders, Kavita Ramdas and Jennifer H. Wu, for their deep commitment and advocacy in advancing gender and racial justice and equity.
For 42 years, Womankind has grown to become a leader in providing multilingual and culturally-responsive services to help survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual violence rise above trauma and build a path to healing. With one in three women being subjected to some form of physical and/or sexual violence in their lifetime, our annual gala aims to underscore the significance and bring greater support and awareness to the silent crisis of gender-based violence in our communities.
